What types of surfaces and furniture are in the office, and what is the best way to clean them? Check out my tips!

In the office, there are a variety of surfaces and furniture that require special attention when it comes to cleaning. From tables and chairs to carpets and wall panels, each item can have its own particularities for optimal cleaning. Therefore, it is important to know the best way to clean and maintain each surface to ensure a clean and healthy environment.

Let's start with tables. These are usually made of wood, stainless steel, or metal. You'll want to wipe the table with a cloth lightly dampened with water to remove any visible stains. If there are any cigarette or cup burns on the wood, use a shellac solution to remove them. For furniture made of metal or stainless steel, you can use a rag with a little soap and water to clean the surface.

Now, we come down to the chairs. These are usually made of fabric, plastic, or metal. If the chair is made of fabric, use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and surface stains, and then use a specific fabric cleaner to remove deep stains. Plastic chairs can be cleaned with a cloth dampened with soap and water, but be sure to dry the surface after cleaning. Finally, for metal chairs, you can use the same cloth dampened with soap and water to clean them.

Now, carpets are another surface that needs special attention. This is because carpets are an excellent place for dust mites and histamine to accumulate and breed easily. The best way to clean a carpet is steam cleaning with a steam cleaner. Chemicals are part of the process as well, to remove deeper, tougher stains.

Finally, treating wall panels. These can be vinyl, wood, or stainless steel. Vinyl can be cleaned simply by wiping it with a damp cloth with plenty of warm water and mild soap. For wood, use mineral oil on a rag to prevent the panels from drying out and damaging their surface. Finally, for stainless steel panels, use a cleaner specifically for these materials.

Surfaces and furniture in your office can be effectively cleaned by following the steps described above. It is important to follow the correct procedures to keep your office clean and healthy for your employees.
